Peg

Peg Mayer is native of Avon, CT, and a member of Simsbury United Methodist Church. Loyal to her roots, Peg lives and works in Avon, and is a CPA who is the managing partner at Howard L. Page & Co. Peg says that "I am participating in this mission because I am hoping that I may be able to make a difference in someone's life and to do something positive."

Recently, Peg served on the Katrina Relocation Committe of SUMC as a trustee, and demonstrated her compassion for survivors of the devastation visited upon them by Hurricane Katrina.

Peg has a 21 year old son, and says, "I love animals, especially German Shepherds. " She adds the interesting little-known fact about herself: "Charlie and I have driven a race car for over 20 years, and I have been a race car driving instructor with the Porsche Club and the BMW club for at least 15 years."
