Karen and Steve

We are all extremely grateful to Karen and Steve, and their RV. Thanks to their generosity, we were able to send along our sleeping gear and some of our tools. They are also sharing their shower! They join this team from Simsbury United Methodist Church.

Karen is a Base Camp Coordinator, working closely with Amy; she sings second soprano, joining us in our choir efforts. A woman with many activities while at home ("writing, gardening, quilting, photography, dogs and cats...and any other animals that might come my way, our twin daughters and their husbands, traveling"), Karen will be putting her talents to great use. Ï'm going on this adventure because it's time to do something more than writing the check, putting it in the mail and hoping all of it gets to the right place."

Steve is one of our Crew Chiefs. He enjoys golf, tennis, paddle tennis, windsurfing, rowing, gardening, cooking, reading, woodworking, dogas and cats, daughters and sons-in-law, and travel including driving the RV. Karen respectfully suggests that we do not want him to participate in singing.
