Chuck

Chuck Naugle, born in Dothan, Alabama and raised in Middletown, PA, is the Pastor of North Canton Community United Methodist Church. Chuck will be conducting our evening services as our Chaplain and Debriefer; he has also volunteered to be a Listener.

Chuck is "paying it forward"on this trip:
"Remembering how much I appreciated people coming to my aid during the Hurricane Agnes Flood of 1972, I wanted to reach out to those who have been so hurt by the Katrina Hurricane and Flood... I lost everything in the flood of ‘72, so I know a person can come back from that, but it is hard."

As is the case with some of the others in this group, Chuck still has roots in the deep South, with most of his relatives still in Alabama. "[S]o I know about fried okra, black-eyed peas, and banana pudding. (I only like the last two.)"
The caretaker of a feral cat to whom Chuck sounds quite attached, Chuck also is a singer and will be joining our choral group as a bass/baritone.
