Amy

Amy Wagenblatt is our Base Camp Coordinator. She is a "full-time mom and part-time medical office assistant" who comes to us from the Torrington First United Methodist Church. Amy and Karen have been busily planning our meals while in Mississippi; not an enviable task, but one they both embrace with enthusiasm.

Indeed, Amy can hardly wait. "I am going because I am drawn to help others in ways that I can physically and emotionally be there for them. And I have the wonderful support of my family (a husband and two teenaged daughters) who would have liked to go themselves."

A self-admitted "girly-girl", Amy has been given a pair of pink work boots for this mission. Can't wait to upload a photo of Amy in those boots!

Jessa, I relayed your message to your mama and she is SO HAPPY!!! to hear from you!!! She says she loves you lots, too, and says to keep those messages coming!

BTW, I love your mom's fashion sense even here at a work camp.
I love her cooking, too.
